Outpost Lodge

Outpost Lodge has a total of 23 clean and comfortable, but simple, bedrooms – all have mosquito nets, TV’s (offering 50 plus channels) and en-suite bathrooms. The popular garden bungalows are a mixture of singles, doubles/twins and triples. The main house has dormitory facilities – ideal for student groups and families. The accomodations are rustic with an emphasis on clean and comfortable lodging with a special ambience.

OUTSIDE ARUSHA
Kia Lodge
Standard Lodging (Pricing between $90 - $190 per person)
Centrally placed between the northern towns of Moshi and Arusha, KIA Lodge is ideally situated whatever your onward journey be it climbing the world's highest free standing mountain or starting a safari into some of Africa's amazing and unique wildlife wildernesses such as the Serengeti National Park or Ngorongoro Crater.

Activities include safari trips, wildlife game drives, safari photography, swimming and more.

KIA Lodge offers 40 air-conditioned cottages under thatch. The open bar has a magnificent view of the highest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro (5895m). The swimming pool is behind the bar on top of the hill with an outstanding 360º panoramic view of Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru, the Blue Mountains and the Maasai Plains. Day rooms are available.  The lodge also includes a swimming pool and walks as well as day trips are offered.

Onsea House

Onsea House is a privately owned, privately run luxury bed & breakfast in Arusha, Tanzania and is the perfect safari base or place to stay for those looking to climb Kilimanjaro. The level of comfort and quality of service has turned it more into a small boutique hotel than a guesthouse.

Onsea House is the perfect base for safari travellers in Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park, the Monduli Mountains and Lake Manyara National Park among other great safari destinations in the "safari capital". After a day exploring, return to your luxury base, Onsea House, for a refreshing drink by the the floodlit swimming pool. For private bathing, the outdoor Hippo Pool Jacuzzi has stunning views and can be booked for individual use. Lake Duluti Lodge
Exclusive Lodging (Pricing between $400 - $800 per person)
Lake Duluti Lodge is located around 12km east of the town of Arusha in northern Tanzania.

Set in forest on the northern shores of a volcanic crater lake and about 1km south of the main road, this small lodge is the most upmarket option on this side of town.

The relatively small main building contains a stylish lounge and dining area, with open kitchen. There is also a small shop and a spa.

Higher up in the grounds is a small pool, whilst the 18 guest rooms are ranged either side, some with glancing views over the treetops down to the lake itself, where there is a sundowner lounge.

Activities include walks in the forest and around the local farmlands, as well as canoe trips out on the lake.

Lake Duluti Lodge is very much in the South African boutique style and is clearly intended to combine with top-end safari lodges out in the parks.

Arumeru River Lodge
Luxury Lodging (Pricing between $190 - $300 per person)
Arumeru River Lodge was constructed on the site of a former coffee farm and is situated only 700 meter south of the main Arusha - Moshi road, just a 35 minutes drive from Kilimanjaro International Airport and 15 minutes from Arusha town.

This new lodge is spread over 12 acres of beautifully furbished gardens and natural bushland, bordering on the Arumeru River lined with large old trees.

The main building contains the resort facilities, a comfortable lounge and the bar, the reception with Telephone/Fax, Internet corner, a fashion boutique and souvernir shop, and the restaurant. The terrace restaurant with magnificient views of the mountains Meru and Kilimanjaro overlooks the tropical gardens and a large solar-heated swimming pool.

There are only twenty spacious, comfortable rooms with ensuite bathrooms and verandahs in ten chalets, all on the ground foor. The atmosphere of the rooms relies on the traditional eco-friendly African architecture.

The restaurant offers exquisite international and African cuisine, à la carte and buffet. A special light lunch and snack menu for food is served during the day on the terrace and at the swimming pool. The chefs also make you comfortable with fresh made bread, cakes and pastries.
